Is there a team behind this mod or is just yourself?

Do you have ea's permission?
And why dont you just rip the models from airborne?

Hi and welcome.

For now it's just me, but ofcourse, anyone that cn prove himself to be useful for the team can join up Wink

No, I do not have EA's permission and I don't need it aswell, since the models and everything else is not reverse engineerable to other formats than UT3. Besides, the game is now more than 7 years old, they officialy dropped support in the second/third year and I'm probably going to make something to check if you own MoHAA before installing this mod (not sure though, but it would please EA that I don't just give their stuff away). Oh, another argument, as far as I know EULA rules, it states that you may not reverse engineer the game, which OpenMOHAA obviously did. So eather way, both this mod and that game are breaking rules, but who cares if one of the best communuties lives on? MoHAA is one of the most accessable and greatest game of all, I think EA should see it as a compliment we want to port/recreate it. In my opinion, the modding community (eg. ModTheater) is even more friendlier and UT3 gives even more possibilities in modding MoHAA.

Because those models don't have the special MoHAA touch we all love soo much.

Hope that answers it for you Wink

As i agree with the statement that they have dropped support for the mohaa title that still doesnt mean that their permission is not needed as Alllied assualt may be old it is still part of the Medal Of Honor franchise and still under "copyright"

With that being said all you would need is to write them and say hey this is what im want to do, can i do this please, seeing as they have already given permission to the Renegade X team for theirs it cannot hurt to ask.

Otherwise you face being shutdown and a court date or fine lest we forget what happend to the Quake 3 Dragon Ball Z mod.

You mean the UT3 mod Renegade X?

If so, they aren't using ported stuff like I do. I basicly put the files into a non-revertable format.

But yea, I suppose you are right, let's just hope EA Games aren't the worst and allow me to do this, perhaps they even grant me to make this mod without an initial check for the MoHAA CD's.

Edit: Do you know any contact e-mail address?

You might want to post that question on the official ea forums
